Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Friendship United Methodist Church ("the church," "we," "us") collects in Staff Services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and role.
- Your mobile phone number, if you choose to add one, and whether you agreed to receive texts.
- What you enter in the app to do your work, and records of the actions you take there.
- Basic technical data such as sign-in times and error reports, used to keep the app secure and working.
How we use it
We use this information only to run Staff Services for church business: to sign you in, process what you submit, notify you by email, and — if you opted in — send Staff Services Text Alerts messages. Messages include timesheet, expense, reimbursement, and approval notifications — for example, when something is waiting for your approval or when a request you submitted is approved, rejected, or paid.
Text messaging
We collect your mobile number and consent only through the opt-in checkbox in your profile, and we use them only to send the messages described in our Terms and Conditions. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every kind of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that run the app for us — hosting, file storage, and email and text-message delivery — and only as needed for them to provide that service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Security and retention
Access is limited to signed-in users, based on their role. We keep information for as long as it is needed for church records and legal or financial obligations, then delete it.
Your choices
You can update your phone number and text preference in your profile at any time. To ask about or correct other information we hold, contact us below.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
